How to join:

The cost of producing the Newsletter and to arrange public meetings of a high standard are entirely borne by the members and voluntary committee members. Doctors are contributing their free time to the Association, either by providing articles or giving lectures.

If you would like to join the Association and become a member please complete the APPLICATION FORM and forward it to:

As we are a registered charity, membership and all donations of $2.00 or more are tax deductible in Australia.

Membership fees are:

  • Full Membership - $44.00 (includes a joining fee of $22.00)
  • Pensioners & Health Care Card Holders - $33.00 (includes a joining fee of $16.50)
  • Life Membership - $200 (note no joining fee)

Renewal fees are:

  • Full Membership 1 year - $22.00
  • Full Membership 3 year - $50.00
  • Pensioners & Health Care Card Holders 1 year - $16.00
  • Pensioners & Health Care Card Holders 3 year - $ 35.00
  • Life Membership - $200.00

Members will receive Newsletters for April, August and December by post or by email.

Overseas members will be sent by email only in the form of a pdf file readable with an Acrobat Reader.

2) Surname,

You will then be e-mailed an INTRODUCTORY Newsletter.

Overseas members should obtain a bank cheque for the amount in Australian Dollars and forward it together with the Application Form to the Australian Health Association of Australia at the above address.

Upon receipt of your application form, you will then be sent electronic Newsletters for one year to your email address.

Prospective members residing in Australia will receive the Newsletter by normal post, upon receipts of their application form or by email if they so desire.

Membership falls due on the 1 March of each year.
